Finding your way in.

A little help with accounts, community access, and looking after one another.

Start with the welcome.

Welcome to RTW is public. Register and verify your email to participate there. Private community access is a separate request: tell us a little about your writing life, how you want to take part, and your agreement to our guidelines. Pseudonyms, beginners and brief answers are welcome.

Email and signing in.

Use the same email address each time. The forum offers an email login link as an alternative to a password. Check your spam folder if a message has not arrived, and request a fresh link if the previous one has expired.

Creating another account usually makes an access problem harder to untangle. Keep the account you started with and ask for help. Replies by email are not enabled; open the forum link to reply.

Waiting for community access.

Straightforward requests may receive a local automated completeness check. An incomplete or uncertain request goes to a person, with no automatic rejection. You can ask for human review in your request. If a moderator asks a question, reply to its private message.

Volunteer availability affects response time. Joining the main community does not automatically open the separate Workshop critique circle.

Request community access

Ask for help or report a problem.

Use the flag or report control on a forum post or message to ask for moderation help. Include the relevant link and what happened; you do not need to post personal details in public.

For account trouble, private reports, or help while the forum is offline, email hello@roundtablewriters.org. Messages reach RTW’s administrator. We do not offer around-the-clock moderation.

Email RTW

This contact route also works when the forum is unavailable. Avoid sending passwords, identity documents or manuscripts.

Your profile, notifications, and writing.

Forum preferences let you change profile details and notification choices. Ask staff privately about an account or content-removal request. Email notifications, backup copies and material somebody else has copied have different limits; do not post sensitive details publicly to request their removal.
